Meeting Schedule

Meetings are held the FIRST Thursday of the month at the "The Center" in the St. Augustine Record Complex. (Corner of SR312 and SR207) unless noted below. Meeting time is 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Check the dates below or email saibmug@aug.com for the latest information. Admission is free. Bring your technical questions - someone is bound to have a solution.

SIG Meetings (formerly "Rountable Meetings")

SIG meetings are for everyone. We meet at 6:30 PM. at "The Center" in the St. Augustine Record Building corner of SR312 and SR207 on the 3rd Thursday of the month. SIG Meetings are for members in "good standing".  This is the place to come if you just started with computers or are just thinking about it.

Newsletter (Temporarily on hold until we find a Newsletter Writer...want to volunteer???)

The St. Augustine IBM User Group publishes a monthly newsletter. It is distrubuted to the membership on the weekend before a meeting.

We are always looking for interesting articles. They can be technical or human interest stories. We all have moments of accomplishments and frustration with our computer systems. Tell us about yours. What software are you proficient with? Tell us about it. Found a great bargain? Share it with other interested computer users.

How to submit an article. Save your article in ASCII text format and email it to Gary Herrick at mainely2@bellsouth.net
Please do not use your carriage return (enter key or paragraph) to start new lines. Use your text wrap instead and only use the carriage return between paragraphs. Deadline is the Wednesday before a regular meeting.

If you have experience with a program and would like to help someone, simply contact one of the Officers or Directors listed above. Remember, you don't have to be an "expert" to help. Sometimes we need an expert and other times we just need a friend to show us what to do. The whole concept of a user group is people helping people. You can help - Give it a try !
